Jeco Energies supplied a total of 50 200 kW resistive loadbanks, including all necessary cabling, to support a three-month test program for a large-scale data center project in Milan.

These units played a crucial role during Integrated Systems Testing (IST), the final phase of commissioning where the entire infrastructure is validated under realistic operating conditions. This involved thorough testing of power systems such as emergency generators, UPS units, distribution units and battery systems to ensure uninterrupted operation.

In parallel, cooling systems were also heavily load tested to confirm their ability to maintain stable temperatures under high operational loads – an essential requirement for high-density server environments. In addition, networking, fire protection and security systems were also validated, ensuring the entire data center is operationally ready.
