Jeco Energies acquires Applitech
Jeco Energies acquires Applitech and strengthens position in the Netherlands
Haarlem/Herentals, Jan. 10, 2025 – Jeco Energies, specialist in energy solutions for temporary and permanent applications and industrial automation, is proud to announce the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Applitech.
Applitech BV, founded in 2001 and based in Amsterdam, is a company with more than 50 employees and achieved a turnover of 14 million euros in 2024. Applitech specializes in the design, manufacture, control and maintenance of a variety of power systems. The company supplies control and distribution systems for various applications, including emergency power supplies for data centers, hospitals and complete power plants.
In addition, Applitech developed its own Flex-Line low-voltage distribution system, which is used in transformer substations by various suppliers. The company has also been an official partner of Siemens for the SIVACON S8 systems for many years, providing solutions to sectors where energy must be continuously available.
With the acquisition of Applitech, Jeco Energies strengthens its activities in the Netherlands, particularly in the field of industrial energy distribution systems and service of those systems. This ideally complements Jeco Energies’ existing portfolio, which is known for total solutions for industrial customers.
“We are proud and pleased to welcome Applitech and all of its employees to Jeco Energies,” said Jan Van Nuffel, CEO of Jeco Energies. “The company is known for its high quality standards and knowledgeable people. Applitech is our first acquisition since we launched – only last November – our buy-and-build growth strategy, strongly supported and guided by NPM Capital. We are very selective in our acquisition policy, and thus strongly believe that Applitech fully meets our requirements, as it strengthens our existing business in applications for emergency power, control systems, distribution systems and industrial service. Moreover, the acquisition of Applitech underlines our announced ambition to further expand our business in the Netherlands.”

John de Leur, DGA of Applitech, added:
“I am extremely pleased that Applitech has been acquired by Jeco Energies and am confident that this acquisition will enable Applitech to further strengthen its position as a leading panel building company in the Netherlands. Applitech is in good hands.”
For the customers of both Applitech and Jeco Energies, this collaboration means a strengthening of services and even more innovative customized solutions. The teams of both companies are working closely together to ensure a seamless transition and continue to ensure high quality standards.
